The West Kootenay Eco Society is gearing up for market season. The Cottonwood Market kicks off on Saturday, May 19. Markets and Events Director Jesse Woodward says the new market space is almost ready.
He’s not sure at this point whether they’ll be in the new space for first market or not.
The Nelson Garden Festival is also coming up on May 12. Woodward says it’s in a new location this year.
It runs from 10:00-3:00pm with 50 booths of veggies, flowers, perennials and annuals, shrubs and bulbs and more.
