RDCK looks to award Universal Metering contract for Balfour Water System upgrades

Upgrades continue for the Balfour water system. The Regional District of Central Kootenay was accepting applications for the Universal Metering portion of the almost $3-million project.  Area E Director Ramona Faust says a recommendation was made to award the contract to Corix Water Products Limited, but it’s not set in stone yet.

Faust says there’s a lot work happening on the project right now.

The RDCK did award the contract for the Balfour Reservoir Watermain Connection to Kaslo Industrial for a maximum of $158,445.
