A building that’s sat empty on Baker Street for the last while has been sold. The owners of the Savoy Hotel and Shambhala Music Festival have purchased the old Co-op building. Jimmy Bundschuh says it will mainly be used as office space but they’re still not 100 per cent sure of their plans.
He says they ran out of space at the hotel and needed to expand.
He says they may rent out part of the building as well, but for now are moving their staff in. The building has been vacant since the Co-op moved out in 2016.
