Artist and venue submissions still open for ArtWalk 2018

ArtWalk 2018 is still looking for venues and artists who want to be involved. This year is the 30th anniversary of the event in Nelson. Coordinator Stephanie Meyers says they want it to be as big as possible.

It kicks off on June 29 for the 11 week run, but Meyers says two opening galas are planned.

She says another highlight is they will be bringing back an idea from the original event in 1988, which featured 15 artists.

Meyers says they’re hoping to have at least 50 artists involved this year. The deadline for submissions is April 20.  If interested, contact Meyers at 250-505-7410.
