New hours for some waste transfer stations start May 1

The Regional District of Central Kootenay is reminding residents that hours of operation will be changing at some of its waste transfer stations soon. Those affected include Balfour, Boswell, Central in Salmo, Edgewood, Kaslo, Marblehead and Slocan. The RDCK says the changes came after extensive review and recommendations from staff and were approved in January.

They come into effect on May 1. Click here to see the full list of changes.
