The Civic and Capitol theatres in Nelson recently received some major funding from the Columbia Basin Trust.
The Civic received over $73, 000 to install new power amplifiers, monitors, sub-woofers, and speakers.
The Capitol is putting their $18, 000 grant towards finishing for their flooring.
The funds are from the CBT’s Arts and Culture Venue Grants.
