West Kootenay Eco Society has mixed feelings on new location for Wednesday market

The Market Director for the West Kootenay Eco Society says there are pros and cons to the new location for the Wednesday markets.

It’s moving to Hall Street.

Jesse Woodward says there’s a waiting list of 20 to 30 vendors and not much room to expand.

Woodward says they’ll see how it goes.

Hesays the preferred space was the Hall Street Plaza and 600 Block of Baker Street, or to remain in their current location.

Council chose the 400 and 500 blocks of Hall Street is it had less impact on traffic, parking, and storefronts.
