School District 10’s Board of Education voted to re-open Burton School for kindergarten to grade three students.
Board Director Lora Lee Brekke says nine students will attend in the fall.
She says there’s still a few details to arrange.
Brekke says there’s more kids in the area now than when the school closed six years ago with only four students.
The school never officially closed as community programs and an outdoor academy are held there.
