The City of Nelson is proposing a three per cent tax increase this year.
Chief financial officer, Colin McClure, says residents can learn more about what’s in the 2018 budget and the five year financial plan at an open house next Wednesday.
The open house is at the Nelson Public Library from 6pm-9pm on March 7.
He says tax notices would be going out near the end of May.
