A new Task Force on BC Mining Jobs was announced by the province yesterday.
Michelle Mungall made the announcement in Victoria in front of an electric car.
She says commodity price fluctuations can impact jobs for a very important industry.
The 12-member task force includes experts in finance and labour, not-for-profits, local governments, and a Ktunaxa First Nation representative from the Kootenays.
They will present recommendations to the government in November.
