Nelson City Council has chosen the three resolutions it will bring for discussion at the Association of Kootenay and Boundary Local Governments convention in April.
Mayor Deb Kozak says one of the resolutions urges the province to develop a rural strategy.
Another is that the province impose a tax on fossil fuel companies to help local governments.
The third is that the province give municipalities 50 per cent of revenues once cannabis is legalized.
There will be debate on the resolutions which can then be brought to the Union of BC Municipalities conference in the fall.
