Three West Kootenay EV charging station launches tomorrow

There’s three events happening in our region tomorrow to promote the addition of more electric vehicle charging stations on our highways.

This is part of the Community Energy Association’s series of soft launches of the stations through their Accelerate Kootenays initiative.

There’s a launch in Creston at 11:00 am at the Cook Street municipal parking lot, in Salmo at 12:30 pm at municipal hall and in Castlegar at 2:00 pm by the visitor centre.

Last week they held similar events in Christina Lake and Greenwood.

The initiative is meant to make our region more accessible for electric vehicle owners.
