The Village of Salmo has received national recognition for its asset management plan.
Mayor Stephen White says they’ve won the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ award for sustainable communities in the asset management category.
White says he was surprised to hear the village won.
The asset management plan addresses capital assets and more.
White says the award recognizes a lot of hard work from village council.
