Proposed multi-sport complex receives letter of support from Nelson City Council

Nelson City Council supports a partnership between the Nelson Tennis Club and the Kootenay Lake School District.

SD8 and the Tennis Club are proposing building a multi-sport complex behind LV Rogers.

Councillor Valerie Warmington says it’s a great idea.

She says a letter  of support for a request of funding will go to the Columbia Basin Trust.

 

Phase one of the project includes new tennis courts and pickleball courts.

Phase two and three will have utilities, washrooms and a clubhouse.
