Glade 2: Coming soon to a river near you

The new Glade ferry will be in service on the Kootenay River at the beginning of February.

The new vessel’s name is Glade 2 and it is undergoing its final testing.

In it’s last fiscal year the Glade ferry carried more than 141,000 vehicles and 191,000 passengers.

Other cable ferries are being built to replace ageing boats in Harrop and Arrow Park.
