Selkirk College welcomes two new Vice Presidents

Selkirk College filled two key positions towards the end of 2017.

Kerry Clarke is the new vice president of college services and John Kincaid is vice president of students and advancement.

They both arrived in November.

Clarke says he’s very familiar with the West Kootenay.

Clarke looks forward to getting out to the lakes for some fishing when the weather clears up.

He’s also excited to get to the rink for his first Selkirk Saints game.

Clarke says working in the post secondary sector is very rewarding.

He says he’s received a warm welcome so far.

Clarke comes to Selkirk after a stint at Northwest Community College in Terrace as director of facilities and ancillary services.

Kincaid was the director of environmental services at the Univeristy of Regina.

He replaced Cathy Mercer who worked at the college for 37 years.
