Leafs begin holidays on winning note

In the KIJHL last night the Nelson Leafs took a 2-0 home win over the Grand Forks Border Bruins.

Leafs coach Mario DiBella spoke highly of forward Ryan Piva who scored both of Nelson’s goals.

The game was delayed due to a power failiure, but DiBella was on the case.

The Leafs are now on their holiday break and don’t play again til December 29th.

The Border Bruins begin their break after a matchup with the Rebels in Castlegar Friday.
