Junior B hockey in BC will have a new look next year.
BC Hockey has ruled full face protection will be mandatory for players in all three of the province’s Junior B hockey leagues.
That includes the KIJHL.
BC Hockey CEO Barry Petrachenko says the decision was made to help ensure better safety for players.
He says they decided to move ahead with the change for Junior B because the idea had support from all three of the province’s leagues.
