‘A special ride so far’: Dryden Hunt on his NHL deubt

Six games into his NHL career with the Florida Panthers, Nelson’s Dryden Hunt is still pinching himself.

He says it’s been a great experience so far playing for the Florida Panthers.

Hunt, who turns 22 on Friday, says he had no idea when he was called into a coach’s office two weeks ago that he’d make his NHL debut.

He says he’s trying to make an impact despite limited ice time.

He should log his seventh game tonight when Florida plays Toronto.

He’s still looking for his first point but says he’s not worrying about it.
