A Kootenay crooner is getting his due from Canada’s Walk of Fame.
South Slocan-raised singer Shawn Hook has been named as 2017’s recipient of the Allan Slaight Honour.
It recognizes young Canadians who inspire others.
Hook has been nominated for two Junos and has two platinum singles to his credit.
