A hockey player from Nelson will be representing BC at the 2017 National Women’s U18 Championship in Quebec City in November.
Reece Hunt, sister of Nelson Leafs captain Sawyer, has made the team.
Hunt had 31 points with the Kootenay Wild in the BC Female Mdget AAA Hockey League last season.
She’s playing in Penticton this year for the Okanagan Hockey Academy.
