A Nelson-raised pro hockey player will have to wait to make his NHL debut.
Dryden Hunt will start this season with the Florida Panther’s AHL farm team the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Hunt had 31 points in 70 games with the Thunderbirds last year.
He finished his junior career with the Moose Jaw Warriors where he was named WHL player of the year in 2016.
