This year’s Osprey Foundation community tribute and fundraiser will honour Bruce Hunter.
Board member P’nina Shames says the retired Nelson music teacher is well known.
Shames says each year they try to honour someone from a different walk of life.
In previous years, they’ve celebrated former city councillor Donna Macdonald, former fire chief Simon Grypma, and Dr. Jim Noiles.
The tribute will be held Oct. 18 at the adventure hotel and tickets will be on sale on line soon.
