Recovery beds show promising early results

Eight new addictions recovery beds in our area are providing results.

This from the Kootenay-Boundary supported recovery program which has now been operating the units for four months.

Program manager Nicole Brown says they take a three-tiered approach.

The units were in the making for over ten years and offer supported longer term addictions recovery for up to six months.

It’s a partnership between Interior Health, ANORKS and the Nelson CARES society.
