B&E on Baker St and ‘aggressive panhandler’ arrested

Three businesses in the same complex have been broken into on Nelson’s Baker Street.

The Nelson Police Department reports it happened around 3:45 am Tuesday morning in Railtown.

Various items were taken.

Detective Sgt Nate Holt says they have nothing to go on so far.

Anyone with info can call the NPD or Crimestoppers.

Meanwhile in a separate incident police arrested a man in the downtown they’re calling “an aggressive panhandler” Tuesday morning.

NPD say they’ve received numerous complaints about him.

He was in breach of his probation order and was held in custody ahead of a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
