The Regional District of Central Kootenay has lifted an evacuation alert for six homes below the Zwicky Road landslide.
In a news release today, they said geotechnical experts visited the landslide this week and determined the chance of continued landslide activity is low.
The slide occurred on April 17. Initially, about 45 homes were under evacuation order, although no damage was done. The order was subsequently lifted for all but six homes, who were further downgraded to an evacuation alert on April 30.
