The leader of the federal Green Party has lent some star power to Kim Charlesworth’s provincial campaign.
Elizabeth May was in Nelson and Creston yesterday.
The Greens have never had more than 21 per cent of the vote in the riding or finished higher than third.
But May says she’s optimistic that’s about to change.
May has been to the Kootenays many times but not since 2007 when her close friend Colleen McCrory died.
