The Savoy Hotel has been named Nelson’s Business of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce.
Co-owner Jenna Arpita says they’re honoured.
Arpita and partner Jimmy Bundschuh redeveloped the building after it sat vacant for many years following a fire.
Other winners included Georama Growers in the retail category, the Adventure Hotel in hospitality-tourism category, and the Kootenay First Health Co-op in the professional service category.
