Leafs win 2nd and 3rd consecutive games

In the KIJHL in Nelson yesterday the Leafs picked up a 4-2 win at home over the Grand Forks Border Bruins.

Leafs forward Jack Karran says the team is building momentum.

He’s referring to a 4-2 win over the Creston Valley Thunder Cats the night before in Nelson.

The Cats did manage a win Friday at home in a 4-1 decision over the Castlegar Rebels.

The Rebels responded the next night with a 7-1 home win over the Grand Forks Border Bruins.

And the Beaver Valley Nitehawks had their lengthy winning streak snapped Saturday in Spokane in a 5-4 loss to the Braves.
