In the KIJHL last night the Nelson Leafs held on for a 5-4 double overtime victory over the Spokane Braves in front of a home crowd.
Leafs forward Dale Howell scored the game winner.
He had a three point night.
The Leafs outshot Spokane 52-32.
The loss puts Spokane on a five game losing streak.
