Nelson’s Marlene Machmer has been appointed to a second two-year term as a member of the Forest Practices Board.
Machmer, a biologist, has had her own consulting firm since 1990, and works as a field ecologist in forest, range and riparian settings.
She has worked with industry, government, and First Nations.
The Forest Practices Board is BC’s independent forestry watchdog.
