The City of Trail and the Village of Warfield have reached a Recreation and Library agreement.
The two municipalities settled on an 18 month deal that will see Warfield pay Trail 90 thousand dollars for the first year and then 45 thousand dollars for the remaining time.
Silver City Mayor Dieter Bogs says they are very happy a solution could be found after the Village decided not to renew the shared services agreement at the end of last year.
Bogs says the 18 month term is important for the new council elected in November to have time to bargain and potentially create a wider regional agreement.
