Gold for Nelson at the national search and rescue scene skills competition in Edmonton.
The local team repeated their 2013 performance to win the skills contest beating out teams from across the country.
Search manager Scott Spencer says they were tested in areas such as rope rescue, wilderness first aid, and survival observation.
Joining Spencer were Sean Slimmon, Douglas Noblet and Chandrima Lavoie.
