A new program for women re-entering the workforce has been created by Nelson Community Services and the Kootenay Career Development Society.
Women Inc is a free seven week employment program is designed to reduce employment barriers and provide support to women.
Co-facilitator Mandy Root says it’s a refreshing course.
She says it’s not your typical program.
Oct. 3 is the start date but you have to apply before the deadline this Friday.
