A local regional director is hopeful the speed limit between Hall siding and Salmo might be increased.
Hans Cunningham says it’s currently a 90 km/h zone.
Cunningham says the road was built to accommodate higher speeds than the current limit.
The regional district is sending a letter to the Ministry of Transportation.
