The Salvation Army is celebrating its 120th birthday in Nelson this weekend.
Maj. Robin Borrows says they’ve always been a busy organization.
They’re having an open house until 2 today at 601Â Vernon St.
On Saturday there’s a community picnic at Lakeside Park from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Sunday a special church service will be held at the Hume Hotel at 10:30 a.m.
