The first residents of Nelson Commons are expected to start moving in this week.
The downtown development will also be the new home of the Kootenay Co-op.
Project manager Russell Precious says the store is a little behind schedule.
They’re now shooting for a November opening.
Precious says 43 of the 54 units have sold and commercial space is still available.
