The Nelson recreation commission will support the local curling club’s efforts to install a concrete floor.
Some commission members don’t think it’s a priority, but director Ramona Faust says the club deserves backing as they seek $250,000 in grants.
The club says a new floor would let them use the facility year-round and for events besides curling.
