The City of Nelson is putting up $10,000 for the street culture collaborative’s outreach team.
It will see a couple of part-time workers hired next month to work with the street population.
Councillor Michael Dailly says it was an easy decision.
The total budget is $100,000Â for the year-long pilot program.
Most of the remaining money is already in hand.
