The Nelson Women’s Centre will preserve local feminist history thanks to a $4,000 grant.
Gitta Ridder says they have over 40 years worth of material in their basement.
The project will see the material sorted and transferred to the Touchstones Nelson archives.
The money comes from the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance.
