Teen faces third charge in Mount Sentinel threats

The teen accused of making threats against Mount Sentinel secondary now faces a third charge.

Denver Tyler Skey, 18, appeared in court Tuesday.

He’s now accused of uttering threats in Nelson on June 23.

He already faced counts of uttering death threats in South Slocan on June 20 and in Trail on June 24.

He’ll remain in custody at least until his next appearance on Aug. 9.

Mount Sentinel’s grad was postponed due to what the school district called a “serious threat.”

Details of the incident are covered by a publication ban.
