A strong showing from the West Kootenay Minor Lacrosse midget team at the provincial championships in Coquitlam.
Head Coach Devon Reid says the team finished second in round robin play to earn a spot in the gold medal game.
They lost 6-3 and finished second.
Reid says despite the result in the finals, what they’ve accomplished is no small feat.
