The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of the woman who was found deceased on the shore of the Columbia River in Trail on April 18th.
She was Elena Popoff of Slocan Park.
The 64 year old had been reported missing by family members on April 17th.
The next morning she was found deceased in a shallow shore area of the
river about a kilometre from the airport.
The BC Coroners service continues to investigate. Foul play has now been ruled out.
