A Nelson councillor wants to revisit the city’s just-adopted aboriginal protocol.
It’s a statement acknowledging First Nations in the region.
But Michael Dailly says he’s been getting negative feedback on some of the terminology.
He says he’s been told “indigenous” is the preferred word.
He also thinks the protocol should name the specific First Nations.
