The possible closure of Creston Education Centre is the focus of a public meeting tonight in Creston.
Residents have a chance to weigh in on whether SD 8 should close the building and shuffle programming to other schools.
RDCK Area-A Director Garry Jackman is urging people to attend.
He says it’s integral to growing the community.

Strong opposition to a closure of the centre is based on concern the existing programs, Homelinks, Wildflower and various early years – will fold or be moved elsewhere.
Tonight’s meeting is at 6:00pm at the Creston Education Centre.
