Telus has announced nearly $5 million in enhanced service upgrades for our region this year.
Spokesperson Liz Sauve says much of the money will be focused on installing new wireless sites.
The company is also extending higher speed internet and introducing its Optik Tv to more residents.
Telus is investing $2 million in Trail, $1.5 million in Nelson, $1 million in Grand Forks and $400,000 in Castlegar.
