More weather records fall

A second straight day of record daily temperatures.

The Environment Canada website shows Castlegar reached 36.1 degrees late yesterday, which breaks the record for June 7th of 34.4 set in 1977.

On Monday it was a record 36.8 degrees in Castlegar.

Trail equalled its daily high for June 7th at 35 degrees.

Creston got to 33.2 to beat its previous best of 31.9 for the day.

Nelson peaked at 33.6 yesterday so did not set a daily record.
