LVR Bombers win BC soccer title

Nelson’s LVR Bombers girls soccer team wrapped up an outstanding season over the weekend.

They won the Provincial AA Championship in Campbell River.

They were undefeated in the tournament and beat a school from Burnaby in the final after a tense penalty shoot-out.

Here’s Captain Kyra Burkart.

Striker Naomi Perkins was the tournament MVP with ten goals.

It’s the first high school girls provincial title for Nelson since 1998.
