Not for the first time this spring we’re in for some record-setting temperatures.
We could see it get up to 36 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
Environment Canada says that would smash various local daily records.
For example in Nelson it reached 33.3 degrees and 34 in Grand Forks on June 5, 1949.

In Trail the all-time high for June 6 is 34.4 set in 1970. Castlegar reached 35 degrees on the same day.
In April a heat wave produced some record-setting daily highs which got into the upper 20s.
