A local advocate for changing Canada’s voting system is celebrating a deal in Ottawa.
The government will allow the Greens and Bloc onto a parliamentary committee that will study what should replace first-past-the-post.
The 12-members will be allocated based on each party’s share of the popular vote in the last election. The Liberals will not have a majority.
